What is Elos Laser Hair Removal?

Unlike laser and light-based technology, which uses only one energy source, Elos is the only technology to combine two energy sources for maximum safety. This device combines the already popular Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) with bi-polar radio frequency energies to get superior results.


Gentle light and electric energies combined damage the hair follicle. This disables the follicle from growing hair, which means that gradually over several treatments, there is a long-term reduction in the amount of hair in that area.

What will happen during the treatment?


The sensation is often described as a ‘hot pinch’ or ‘snapping’ feeling. It only lasts for a fraction of a second and warmth and/or a tingling sensation is experienced for a short time afterward. We also provide a cooling system that makes it a lot more comfortable for you. This new laser technology has two spot sizes for laser hair removal that can treat all hair types, from deep, thick, coarse hair to medium and finer shallow hair. The large spot size targets those with coarse, deep or medium hair. The small spot size treats shallow or finer hair. The Elos system also has a built in cooler at the head (point of contact) which will significantly increase comfort levels during the procedure.


How quickly will I notice an effect?


Each treatment will result in less hair coming back, as well as hair, which is growing will be lighter in color and becoming finer and also slowing regrowth. It takes more than one treatment to affect all the follicles growing in an area.


How long will the laser hair removal treatment last?


Most people achieve satisfactory clearance after 4-8 treatments; however, on dark hair we recommend 7 to 10 treatments, on blond, a minimum of 7. We also offer Electrolysis service to finish our permanent hair removal after laser for 100% result.


Things to Consider


Please note that fake tan and a deep tan will need to fade before treatments. We recommend that you don't sunbathe directly after treatment.
